Walking & Talking in Nature
The Walking and Talking in Nature group connects people to create meaningful friendships with each other.
The group runs every Tuesday from 10:30am to 12:30pm, meeting outside the Visitor Centre at Hartsholme Park.
This is facilitated by one of our qualified Counsellors, Andrew Cox, who will lead the group on a leisurely walk around the park and participants can have a general chat, with the opportunity to talk about their mental health and wellbeing.
There will be mindfulness techniques throughout the walk, and time to speak to Andrew as a therapist and meet others too.
Andrew is also a herbalist, so you can learn about the plants and nature around the area too!
This project is funded by The National Lottery Awards For All.
